Recommended itinerary
- Day 1 — Silk & clay Drive from Tashkent → Margilan silk workshop → Rishton pottery demo → overnight Fergana or Margilan.
- Day 2 — Kokand Kokand Palace → Jami Mosque → craft shopping → return to Tashkent or continue east.
- Day 3 — Optional Extra workshop time, Andijan bazaar, or slow travel back via scenic stops.
Getting there
Private car with driver recommended (Kamchik Pass). Fergana airport (FEG) has limited flights. No Afrosiyob — plan road time.
Best season
Mar–May and Sep–Oct — valley blossoms in spring. Summer is hot but workshops are indoor.
